Where the food comes from
Since 2005 we've been sharing the Aloha spirit through our own creative blend of home-style family recipes — rooted in and influenced by the diverse cultures and colors of Hawaii.
That mix is the whole point. Hawaiian plate lunch isn't one tradition, it's several sitting down at the same table: Hawaiian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Portuguese. It's why kalua pork and katsu and adobo all belong on the same menu without anybody blinking.
What we're known for
The slow-smoked kalua pork, mostly. And the signature fire-grilled loli loli chicken. Beyond that, island-style favorites like succulent pork lau lau, ahi poke, and crispy coconut prawns.
We've been honored with Taste of Tacoma's Best Entrée and a Best of Western Washington award, and KING 5's Evening came out to do a segment on us. The Seattle Times, the Tacoma News Tribune and the Weekly Volcano have all written about the restaurant.

The room
For twenty-one years we were a comfortable, relaxing, family-friendly restaurant in a strip mall on 320th, which is not a glamorous sentence but it's an honest one. Now it's catering and luaus — same food, same ohana, wherever your event is.
Centrally located between Seattle and Tacoma, thirty minutes from Bellevue, and a short trek from Kent or Auburn. Whether you're from the islands or Hawaiian at heart — we'd love to cater your next event.
